IPB student Xinyu Fu was chosen to participate in the 2017 ASPB Conviron Scholars program

IPB graduate student Xinyu Fu was selected to participate in a program organized by ASPB, the ASPB Conviron Scholars program, which provides learning programs for career development and benefits associated with ASPB membership and meetings. Xinyu studies the dynamics of acetyl-CoA metabolic network in plants in Dr. Basil Nikolau’s group. Her work takes advantage of both traditional reverse genetics and stable-isotope assisted metabolomics techniques to investigate the roles of acetyl-CoA-generating enzymes in distinct subcellular compartments. She is glad to share her experience with fellows who are interested in applying this program next year.
