Dr. W. Allen Miller studies the molecular biology of plant RNA viruses with three different, but overlapping, perspectives: employing plant viruses to provide basic understanding of how viruses express genes and replicate, understanding how viruses control the host's translational cell machinery, and striving to improve the knowledge of plant pathologists and breeders.
