Dr. Martin H. Spalding's research interests include plant and microalgal physiology, photosynthetic carbon metabolism, microalgae as platforms for production of renewable bioproducts, and genome editing in plants and algae. Dr. Spalding is the Principal Investigator of Spalding Laboratories and is also the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies at ISU.
